ABOUT THE SHOW

A young girl writes a letter to the editor of the New York Sun. "Dear Editor, I am eight years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says if you see it in the Sun, it's so. Please tell me the truth. Is there a Santa Claus?" Ed Mitchell, the editor, assigns Frank Church—a reporter on the verge of self destruction—the task of answering Virginia's question. Church's quest and reply have become one of the world's most quoted and beloved editorials.

ABOUT interACT THEATRE PRODUCTIONS POP-UP POCKET PRODUCTIONS

interACT is the theatre in residence at The Baird Cultural Arts Center in South Orange, NJ. In 2019, the entire Baird building is closing for extensive renovations and will remain closed for three to five years until the project is complete. During this time, we are proud to have the support of local businesses, the south orange skate house, the book house in millburn (www.thebookhousemillburn.com), The Burgdorff Center for The Performing Arts, and others in allowing us to perform our pop-up pocket productions in their spaces. If you or anyone you know has a space that would be willing to house us for a reading or other pop-up pocket productions, please contact Artistic Director Nick Clarey at nick@interactproductions.org.
