Teen/Young Adult Acting

Description: In this 3 session class led by casting director, Mark J. Parker,
Young adults and teens will learn and apply acting techniques for the camera
to monologues, and small/large group scene study.

Adult Acting
Who: Ages 18 and up

Description: In this once daily, week-long fun-filled online drama camp
children entering 3rd - 7 grades will learn acting, character building, performance and other fundamental theatre skills.
Working as an ensemble, the children will collaborate to produce a theatre piece, which will be performed for a zoom audience on
the final day of camp.
Minimum registration: 6 participants
Maximum Registration: 10 Participants
Fee: $75/5 sessions

Mark J. Parker is an acting coach, independent filmmaker, casting director, digital content creator, podcast host, and SAG-AFTRA actor. Mark has worked on many films and TV shows in various capacities throughout the years, from broadcast series "Ugly Betty" and "30 Rock" to cable shows like "Celebrity Close Calls." He cast 7 seasons of the ABC hidden camera series "What Would You Do?" at ABC's Lincoln Square Productions in NYC. Additionally, he's cast improv-based/soft-scripted TV specials, limited series, and reality series for broadcast, cable, and streaming networks since 2010, along with scripted independent films and video projects. After 40 North American film festival acceptances, his short film "Sticks" is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, and his next short "Family History" will be finished and screening later this year. He co-hosts and produces the entertainment podcast "Add This To Your List," and his most recent stage credits include: The Laramie Project (Clocktower Players, Irvington, NY), You Can’t Take It With You (St. Jean’s Players, NYC), Night of the Living Dead Live! (interACT Theatre Productions, NJ), and Dog Sees God (AlphaNYC Theater Co., NYC).
