FINDING MY CHARACTER - AN ADULT ACTING WORKSHOP
FINDING MY CHARACTER is An 8-week Character/Scene Adult Acting Workshop with John A.C.Kennedy being offered by interACT Theatre Productions

ABOUT THIS CLASS
SPACE IS VERY LIMITED - Every actor begins a rehearsal process with two powerful tools:
their character’s dialogue and their own personality.
This eight week course is designed to help you develop
techniques to utilize your own personality to examine
the text and discover your unique version of a character --
the version best-suited to who you are and what you bring to a cast.
We’ll discover these techniques through classic exercises,
improvisational scenarios and brief “Phantom Scenes”, then
move quickly to 2 person scene work.  Veteran performers
and less-experienced actors alike will enjoy an opportunity to
experiment and find their own path to one-of-a-kind characters.
