About Us

interACT productions is a new community theatre company in Essex County, NJ. Founded in 2009, we are entering our second season. Our mission is to bring communities and generations together through the arts. We draw people together from different towns, different backgrounds, and different ages to be part of this exciting endeavor. It takes a lot of people with many different talents and skills to run a theatre. So if you enjoy the theatre, whether on stage or behind the scenes, take a look at our volunteer opportunities.

Our inaugural season included a hugely successful, multi-generational production of Godspell. Not only did audiences have a great time, the volunteers, performers and community all had an exciting and meaningful experience. The arts truly bring people together!

We are looking forward to our 2010-2011 season, which has began with Bad Seed in December and continues with interACT Sings! in May.
